Luc *

Luc is an American artist, producer, DJ, presenter, and record collector. After cutting his teeth as a DJ in Chicago before he was even old enough to legally enter the club, Luc has gone on to move through a wide spectrum of rave subcultures, shaping a sound grounded in Chicago and Detroit underground ethos while pushing toward a more contemporary form of club expression. With a career crossing three continents and releases on KAOS, CROWD and Nechto, his work moves between stripped-back machine funk and peak-time utility; direct, physical music built for dark rooms, heavy sound systems and no-frills dance floors. His productions have earned support with global dance music heavyweights like Héctor Oaks, KiNK, Elli Acula, Yousuke Yukimatsu, Gerd Janson, FJAAK and many more, and surfacing in sets and broadcasts from Berghain to Boiler Room to BBC Radio 1.
