Karine is an integral part of Kyiv’s Closer club as its resident DJ and booker, now based in Berlin, continues writing the club’s story in Ukraine and worldwide. Her exceptional musicality and an immense experience in mindful listening and dancing throughout the two decades we’ve known Karine, including ten years of working at Closer, have brought her to the position of a truly promising talent on the scene. Her records are a colourful spectrum of deep, minimalist, hypnotic, groovy, and quirky sounds depicting an array of periods and moods spanning multiple genres from house and techno to breakbeat, electro, and more: she would playfully blur the boundaries between genres anyway.
