Catem is a Berlin-based producer, DJ and label founder. Two decades behind the decks have built a physical understanding of rhythm, timing and instinct. His vinyl-only sets move through classic house and minimal techno. Warm, repetitive groove built for the floor. In the studio he works with synthesisers, samplers and analogue hardware, recording live sessions where improvisation shapes the structure. His live set runs on two sampler units loaded with years of studio recordings, mixed in real time, reading the room with a DJ approach. In 2025 he launched Catem Records, a vinyl label. The first release is already in circulation. He also co-founded Func Records, focused on techno.
