Alejandro Quevedo-Alfaro AKA Ale Grooves was born on July 3rd 1996 in Ibague Tolima, Colombia. He came over to the UK at the age of 3, where he would find his love for music. In late 2019 he began his journey as a DJ and is currently an aspiring producer. He takes great influence from Latin roots and is inspired by the rhythmic sounds of salsa and cumbia to name a few. Along with this, his south London upbringing has exposed him to so many different sounds which he draws inspiration from including, Hip-Hop, UK Garage and Jazz/soul. His passion is mixing tech house and minimal house bangers! During this relatively short amount of time Ale Grooves has made noise in the underground scene which has led to him securing residency at Barbaro where he regularly displays his unique style and incorporates his musical influences throughout. Through his time behind the decks he has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with peers such as Jesse Calosso, Late Replies, George Privatti, Daniel Opri, Late Delivery, Reme, DJ Fronter and Blair Suarez (Mason Collective).
